If I became the Governor of Hong Kong, I would torture local students by doing this.

I think doing this would torture myself too.

As the Ukrainian-Russian war continues and people start to get to see what has happened and the narratives from both sides before the war and what is happening now, I think we would all agree that learning history and learning from history is important for every one in the world.

And maybe I’ve watched too much of Servant of the People recently. (Perhaps they are now too busy to put English subtitles in the episodes posted on YouTube) I start to imagine what I could do to prevent the youth from making mistakes we did in the past.

So in an imaginary universe of me being the head of state, I would make History as a mandatory subject for all students in primary and secondary schools, and the public exam would have History as a mandatory subject for all school candidates. I hope this would help students express themselves their opinions with logic in some critical events in the past, just like the current History public exams.
